We’ll be voting in the new PTO Board and kicking off plans for next year. We’ll also be hosting our VIPS Appreciation Breakfast during this time to thank our amazing volunteers, we truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Calling all Herod parents, teachers, and staff! It’s almost time for the 3rd Annual Meyerland Area Elementary Schools Softball Showdown—tentatively set for May 24 or May 25. We’re looking for a few more dads to join the team (no experience necessary). It’s a family-friendly event, so bring the kids and come cheer us on!

| Garden News In case you haven’t been over to Pontiac Street in a while… the school garden is blooming with exciting updates!
Eagle Scout candidate David Fang of Troop 222 orchestrated a workday last weekend to help restore some of the damage done by the storms last winter.
New tables have been built, offering a perfect spot for outdoor learning and relaxation. Additionally, the birdhouse has been re-established, welcoming back our feathered friends and adding life and charm to the garden space. To keep the school garden thriving and beautiful, we’re asking for your support in maintaining this wonderful space. PTO has created a garden donation link on the school store that is accessible to the greater community. Click here to support the Garden!
Donations will go toward funding maintenance projects, restoration of the pond area, and ensuring the fences stay safe. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful impact. Thank you for helping us nurture both nature and learning! |

David Fang, candidato a Eagle Scout de la Tropa 222, organizó una jornada de trabajo el fin de semana pasado para ayudar a restaurar algunos de los daños causados por las tormentas del invierno pasado.
Se han construido nuevas mesas, que ofrecen un espacio perfecto para aprender y relajarse al aire libre. Además, se ha reinstalado la pajarera, dando la bienvenida a nuestros amigos emplumados y aportando vida y encanto al jardín. Para mantener el huerto escolar floreciente y hermoso, solicitamos su apoyo para el mantenimiento de este maravilloso espacio. La Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTO) ha creado un enlace para donaciones al huerto en la tienda de la escuela, accesible para toda la comunidad. ¡ Haga clic aquí para apoyar el huerto!
