Happy Memorial Day Herod Families! We hope you enjoyed the long weekend as we took time to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect our freedoms.
Herod SHOWED UP in a big way yesterday at the 3rd Annual Meyerland Area Elementary School Softball Tournament! Our team played hard from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with strong support from families and staff, powering through back-to-back games, injuries, cramps, heat, and pure exhaustion. Their hard work paid off with a 3rd place finish out of 8 teams!
This incredible effort was a true testament to how strong Herod is and will continue to be. Thank you for EVERYONE who showed up and a special thanks for the team who played back-to-back games through injuries, cramps, heat, and exhaustion. If you see these teachers and families around campus this week, be sure to give them a high five and a well-deserved pat on the back! The players on the team were: Mr. Vidato, Mike Rosenhouse, John McWilliams, Paul Long, Kyle Kaspar, Ricky Jody, Daniel Giltner, Rachel Macias, Stephanie Kaspar, and Ms. DeMunbrun.
We are closing in on the end of the year, so parents, make sure to contact your room parent to determine what needs to be done for the end-of-year parties!
