Don't forget that tomorrow (Tuesday) is school picture day- all students will be photographed, and the kids are allowed free dress.

| Get to know Mrs. Atkinson! This week we caught up with Mrs. Atkinson who this year has moved upstairs to join the 4th grade team! If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Atkinson, you are in for a real treat! She is a true Herod gem, spreading her kindness and genuine love for education to all her students and families. We are so lucky to have her as part of our orange and blue Herod family. PTO LOVES YOU Mrs. Atkinson!
What is your hidden talent?
My hidden talent is making desserts.
What is your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would include visiting every state in the U.S. and then FRANCE!!
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do with the money? (Besides donating a portion of it to Herod PTO)(Yes!)
If I won the lottery, I would definitely donate a large portion to help others. I would retire and just enjoy being a senior citizen.
What Herod teachers' class would you like to be a student in for a day?
If I were a student for a day, I would like to attend all of the Specials. STEM, Music, P.E., Library and Art.
In which Hogwarts house would you be sorted?
Hufflepuff.
What is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal (fowl) is a hummingbird.
Is there a quote or saying you live your life by?
One of many favorite quotes: "If you give a man a fish you only feed him for the day, but if you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."
What is your favorite Herod memory?
Gosh, there are so many but if I had to choose just one it would be 20-21 school year.

MORE ICE!!! If you haven't heard, our Herod Teachers & Staff LOVE Ice. After PTO installed a new Ice and Water machine in the teachers lounge we quickly learned that it wasn't producing enough ice to keep up with the demand. PTO to the rescue- Ice Machine #2 was installed late last week in the upstairs workroom. Cheers to cold drinks!! Huge thank you to Stephanie Kasper and all her work keeping our teachers & staff happy! |

| ¡Conozca a la Sra. Atkinson! ¡Esta semana nos reunimos con la Sra. Atkinson, quien este año se mudó al piso de arriba para unirse al equipo de 4to grado! Si no ha tenido el placer de conocer a la Sra. Atkinson, ¡le espera un verdadero placer! Ella es una verdadera joya de Herodes, que transmite su amabilidad y amor genuino por la educación a todos sus estudiantes y familias. ¿Cuáles son las vacaciones de tus sueños?
¡Las vacaciones de mis sueños incluirían visitar todos los estados de EE. UU. y luego FRANCIA!

Si ganara la lotería, definitivamente donaría una gran parte para ayudar a otros. Me jubilaría y simplemente disfrutaría de ser una persona mayor.
¿En qué clase de profesores de Herodes te gustaría ser estudiante por un día?
Si fuera estudiante por un día, me gustaría asistir a todos los Especiales. STEM, Música, Educación Física, Biblioteca y Arte.

¿Cual es tu animal espiritual? Mi espíritu animal (ave) es un colibrí.

¡¡¡MAS HIELO!!! Si no lo has oído, a nuestros maestros y personal de Herodes les ENCANTA el hielo. Después de que el PTO instaló una nueva máquina de hielo y agua en la sala de maestros, rápidamente nos enteramos de que no estaba produciendo suficiente hielo para satisfacer la demanda. PTO al rescate: la máquina de hielo n.° 2 se instaló a fines de la semana pasada en el taller de arriba. Saludos a las bebidas frías!! ¡Muchas gracias a Stephanie Kasper y todo su trabajo manteniendo felices a nuestros maestros y personal! |
