It's here! Herod Auction Week! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and you are well rested and ready for Herod Auction on Saturday!

As you drop your kids off at Herod Elementary, you know that our beloved school is filled with students that come from all different places and represent such a wonderful mixing pot of cultures, races, socio economic backgrounds, religions and experiences. Our school is also filled with caring administrators, dedicated staff and wonderful teachers. As parents and support structures, we get the privilege to stand beside these amazing people, hold hands and enrich the lives of every student who sets foot in the building at 5627 Jason Street. This is an impossible feat without the PTO, impossible to continue without all of you showing up and lending your time, talent and treasure to hold up a whole building of Herod Heroes. We really hope to see you show up on Saturday night, if it means your support is in the form of buying an auction ticket, or getting into a bidding war about the college flag on the flag pole, we want to see you! We want the fellowship, the fun, the ideas, the relationships and the celebration!
Ashley and I are running low on years left at our beloved Herod, and we are so excited to see the future show up bright for our school on Saturday night- come find us, introduce yourself, let's share a toast, a story, our dream- and then we will volunteer you for something immediately.

We are collecting baby pictures of our 5th graders for the yearbook. If you would like to include your child’s baby picture, please email it to herodjetsyearbook@gmail.com and include your child’s full name in the SUBJECT line. These photos can be baby, toddler or pre-K pictures. The deadline to submit baby pictures is February 23rd. I will email back a confirmation of receipt of your photo. | 24-25 Yearbook Coordinator Needed To all Herod families, we are looking for someone or a small group to take over Herod yearbook duties starting the 2024-2025 school year. This commitment starts at the beginning of the school year and usually ends around Spring Break when the yearbook is submitted for print. The yearbook is a fun project, but it is a commitment. We are looking for someone or a small group who can commit to at least 3 years (a plus if longer!) Aside from taking pictures, most of the work is done at home on your computer. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity and something that the students really look forward to. Cuando deja a sus hijos en la Primaria Herod, sabe que nuestra querida escuela está llena de estudiantes que provienen de diferentes lugares y representan una maravillosa mezcla de culturas, razas, orígenes socioeconómicos, religiones y experiencias. Nuestra escuela también está llena de administradores atentos, personal dedicado y maestros maravillosos. Como padres y estructuras de apoyo, tenemos el privilegio de estar al lado de estas personas increíbles, tomarnos de la mano y enriquecer las vidas de cada estudiante que pone un pie en el edificio en 5627 Jason Street. Esta es una hazaña imposible sin el PTO, imposible de continuar sin que todos ustedes se presenten y presten su tiempo, talento y tesoro para sostener todo un edificio de Herod Heroes. Realmente esperamos verte aparecer el sábado por la noche, si eso significa que tu apoyo es en forma de comprar un boleto de subasta o entrar en una guerra de ofertas por la bandera universitaria en el asta de la bandera, ¡queremos verte! ¡Queremos el compañerismo, la diversión, las ideas, las relaciones y la celebración!
Ashley y yo nos estamos quedando sin años en nuestro amado Herodes, y estamos muy emocionados de ver el futuro brillar para nuestra escuela el sábado por la noche. | Se necesita coordinador del anuario 24-25 Para todas las familias de Herod, estamos buscando a alguien o un grupo pequeño para que se haga cargo de las tareas del anuario de Herod a partir del año escolar 2024-2025. Este compromiso comienza al comienzo del año escolar y generalmente termina alrededor de las vacaciones de primavera, cuando se envía el anuario para imprimir. El anuario es un proyecto divertido, pero es un compromiso. Estamos buscando a alguien o un grupo pequeño que pueda comprometerse por al menos 3 años (¡una ventaja si es más!). Además de tomar fotografías, la mayor parte del trabajo se realiza en casa en su computadora. Esta es una maravillosa oportunidad de voluntariado y algo que los estudiantes realmente esperan con ansias.
