Well that sure was fun shining bright for Herod!!! Thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out at our annual auction last night! It was so wonderful to see new faces and get to enjoy the night with so many Herod families, teachers and staff! We are still riding that Herod high while we wait for the TSwift bowl!
HUGE shoutout to our auction chair Amanda Shirley and her team-Brooke Blackshear, Dawn Elliott, Chi Chi Eigege, Kyler Godwin, Janelle Holt, Christina Lovely, Ashley McDonough, Judy Nelluvelil, Daniela Schultz, Alicia Welch, and Christy Jackson! And all the room parents & everyone who asked for and provided donations to make last night a huge success!! A lot of work goes into making this event special, and it wouldn't be possible without our Herod volunteering village!

All donations will benefit the BIG Love Cancer Care organization! Collecting $1-5 toys, puzzles, games, and cards! Each toy donation will enter your teacher's name in a raffle to help shave Mr. A's hair when Kathryn returns to school in March!

We are collecting baby pictures of our 5th graders for the yearbook. | 24-25 Yearbook Coordinator Needed To all Herod families, we are looking for someone or a small group to take over Herod yearbook duties starting the 2024-2025 school year. This commitment starts at the beginning of the school year and usually ends around Spring Break when the yearbook is submitted for print. The yearbook is a fun project, but it is a commitment. We are looking for someone or a small group who can commit to at least 3 years (a plus if longer!) Aside from taking pictures, most of the work is done at home on your computer. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity and something that the students really look forward to. Bueno, ¡¡¡eso sí que fue divertido brillar para Herodes!!! ¡Gracias a todos los que asistieron y se presentaron en nuestra subasta anual anoche! ¡Fue maravilloso ver caras nuevas y disfrutar la noche con tantas familias, maestros y personal de Herodes! ¡Todavía estamos en lo alto de Herodes mientras esperamos el tazón TSwift!

| Se necesita coordinador del anuario 24-25 Para todas las familias de Herod, estamos buscando a alguien o un grupo pequeño para que se haga cargo de las tareas del anuario de Herod a partir del año escolar 2024-2025. Este compromiso comienza al comienzo del año escolar y generalmente termina alrededor de las vacaciones de primavera, cuando se envía el anuario para imprimir. El anuario es un proyecto divertido, pero es un compromiso. Estamos buscando a alguien o un grupo pequeño que pueda comprometerse por al menos 3 años (¡una ventaja si es más!). Además de tomar fotografías, la mayor parte del trabajo se realiza en casa en su computadora. Esta es una maravillosa oportunidad de voluntariado y algo que los estudiantes realmente esperan con ansias.
