The one with the Solar Eclipse!

Godspeed to all of our Herod families headed out on an eclipse adventure tomorrow! For everyone that will be at school for the big event tomorrow, the PTO has provided the school with enough glasses for everyone on campus. If you DO NOT want your child viewing the eclipse make sure you fill out the yellow opt-out form and return this to school tomorrow. There is nothing to fill out/sign if you DO want your child to participate.

After we all come back to earth on Tuesday we've got quite a full and fun week ahead!

Tuesday April 9th- Testing Snack Prep. Ms. McDonald needs some helpers to prep snacks for upcoming standardized testing on Tuesday from 7:30-8:30am. You can sign up to help here.

Wednesday April 10th- there is no school for Spring Holiday

Friday April 12th- Coffee with the Principal at 7:30am in the Teachers Lounge

Saturday April 13th- Herod Round Up from 10am-11am- welcoming all new magnet and incoming Herod Jets to come tour the school, learn about PTO, get connected and meet Herod admin and teachers! The PTO happily invites all new families to join us at Spring Fling starting at 11am. If you know any new families that will be joining Herod next year, please pass on the invitation!

Saturday April 13th- Spring Fling from 11am-2pm. Join our Herod community for fun, food, music, inflatables, face painting and so much more sponsored by the Herod PTO! Admission is $5, and tickets can be purchased online or at the gate!

Spring Fling is a Herod PTO sponsored event and we need helping volunteer hands to make these community events possible. If you are able to volunteer, please sign up here.

¡El del eclipse solar!

¡Buena suerte para todas nuestras familias de Herodes que mañana se embarcarán en una aventura de eclipse! Para todos los que estarán en la escuela para el gran evento de mañana, el PTO ha proporcionado a la escuela suficientes vasos para todos en el campus. Si NO desea que su hijo vea el eclipse, asegúrese de completar el formulario amarillo de exclusión voluntaria y devolverlo a la escuela mañana. No hay nada que completar/firmar si SÍ desea que su hijo participe.
