Herod Hero :: Mrs. Burnside

This week we had the pleasure of catching up with a long time Herod Hero- Mrs. Burnside! Mrs. Burnside moved from the first grade classroom and became Coach Burnside a couple of years ago, and now all of our Jets get to experience her love, kindness, and the excitement she brings every day! We are so lucky to have Mrs. Burnside as part of our Herod family, her love for the orange & blue jets is second to none- make sure you wave as you see her cruising by on her golf cart in the neighborhood!

What is your hidden talent? 

Getting a smile out of a student that may not smile so much in the regular classroom! 

What is your dream vacation? 

We have travelled all over the world, but never been to Fiji.  Put me in a little hut on the water and I’m good!

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do with the money? (Besides donating a portion of it to Herod PTO)

Make sure that I have set aside plenty of funds for my daughters so they can live life financially set,  buy a dream home on the water, and upgrade the boat.   Get plenty of pets and then retire! 

Herod – FOR SURE- can have a chunk!

 What is your favorite Herod memory? 

Being right here with my children for every step of their elementary school life, and creating bonds with so many of their teachers that are now friends. What a blessing!
