HEROD HERO :: MS. GORDON

Our Herod Hero this week is none other than our Herod Fairy Godmother, Mrs. Gordon. Her official role is lead plant operator, but if you've spent any amount of time at 5627 Jason Street, you know that Mrs. Gordons goodness spans across the entire school. She has been serving Herod students for decades, caring for them, making them feel at home, encouraging them and making sure the Herod experience is full of blue and orange sunshine for each and every student that passes through those doors. Mrs. Gordon is the epitome of what Gary L. Herod chose to do that day when he crashed his plane in an empty field. She is the ultimate Herod Hero, a Herod Institution, and we are so lucky to have her serving our kids everyday.

What is your hidden talent? 

I was an avid softball player! {in my younger days}

What is your dream vacation? 

To go to Africa

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do with the money? (Besides donating a portion of it to Herod PTO)

Pay for my grandson's college education and pay for my daughters continuing her degrees. And for sure HEROD!!

What is your favorite Herod memory? 

There are soo many great memories but to single out 1 would be when Mr. Johnson offered me the job and I was welcomed as family to all of the wonderful Herod Family's. That was the summer of 2011.
