In the summers-night during school year-morning

Mustard

What is your favorite sport to watch and/or play?

Baseball and volleyball

What is your favorite day of the week? Why?

Wednesday is pizza night with my nephews and sometimes the nieces join.

What do you do in your free time?

Hang with family or my roommates dog at a dog friendly place.

Which subject in school is your favorite? Why?

Math because one plus one always equals two

What is one goal you have for yourself at Herod?

Help change the school culture despite what is happening on the district level so everyone can be happy and continue to love their job despite district pressures.

What do you think makes a good teacher?

Being a good listener. When we listen we know if all the students needs are met which then they can be ready to learn and take in new experiences.

What is your favorite family holiday tradition?

Christmas time in San Antonio

Where do you like to vacation?

Corpus Christi Whitecap beach and now Lake Michigan West Olive

What would the students be surprised to find out about you?

I was prom queen

What is one of your hidden talents?

It’s not so hidden but behavior management, I’m really good at

What has been your favorite teaching moment?

All the “aha” moments watching the students grow and learn with their life skills that they will need as adults.
